Trinidad and Tobago records economic benefit from CPL

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) says the tournament created an economic impact for Trinidad & Tobago of US$23.6 million for the period August 4 and September 9. 
This figure has been arrived at by using organiser spend, visitor spend and media value and was calculated for the CPL by world-renowned researchers, SMG Insight. 
In addition to that economic impact figure, the Hero CPL directly involved 830 local personnel in Trinidad & Tobago and filled 9,323 hotel rooms during the 2017 event.
The CPL spent over US$ 4.49 million in Trinidad & Tobago during the 2017 event.
