Victoria Mutual Investments records 50% increase in net profit

Listed company, Victoria Mutual Investments says for the first quarter ended March 31 it recorded consolidated net profit of 117.8 million, reflecting an increase of $39 million or nearly 50 per cent over the corresponding quarter in 2018. 
 
Revenue for the three-month period was $438 million versus $285 million for the corresponding period of 2018. 
 
Victoria Mutual Investments says the 53.57 per cent growth in revenue was driven by increased fees and commissions.
