Harvard Law School graduate cops 2010 Miss Jamaica World

Chantal Alicia Raymond, 24, is the new Miss Jamaica World 2010.

Chantal was crowned at the grand finale held on Saturday at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston.

Known for her beauty and brains, Chantal recently graduated from Harvard Law School.

She also gained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and nine undergraduate academic scholarships.

She also completed a political/economical internship at the US Department of State, at the US Embassy in Kingston from 2009 to this year.

Chantal copped the Miss Talent Fast Track and ranked second in both Miss Model and Miss Sports Fast Track.

The first runner up spot went to 23-year-old Kerry Moxam, while 21-year-old Amanda-Lee McCreath was the second runner up.

Chantal will represent Jamaica in the Miss World 2010 pageant in China later this year.
