The event dubbed the greatest reggae show on earth may have ended Monday morning, but it is still on the lips of almost everyone across Montego Bay which played host.
Some people are saying it is the best show yet in terms of overall performances since the inception of Sumfest August 2003.
It may have rained cats and dogs during the daytime both Saturday and Sunday, but that was not a deterrent to the thousands of party lovers who had planned on seeing their favourite acts Friday and Saturday night.
The media was barred from recording the acts on International Nights one and two, but Friday’s star R&B sensation Chris Brown delivered an electrifying set.
From the moment he belted out ‘Jamaica, what a gwaan?’ in a local accent and began his famous dance moves, he had the females screaming ‘I love you’ and more.
Chris Brown added a Jamaican component to his performance, even deejaying at one point sending the crowd in a frenzy.
And if one thought that it couldn't get better, well Saturday night the other international performer, Usher, took the roof down with a nearly two-hour set that had the females eating out of his hands.
Usher proved that he had prepared for his stint when he did a performance with Mavado, then with Chris Brown and Elephant Man, leaving the audience in awe.
His performance was simply mind blowing.
Other great performances came from Etana, who teased and taunted the audience, while delivering 12 hits.
Konshens and Protege also delivered beautiful sets.
Gramps Morgan of Morgan Heritage, did a solo performance that had the audience swaying throughout his entire performance.
One thing that is on the lips of many as well was the fact that the usual obscenities were absent this year, a welcome relief to many who attended the annual reggae festival.
