14 year-old may have carried out West Kingston shootings

The Kingston West Police are probing reports that a 14 year old boy carried out Wednesday's deadly attack at Coronation Market.
    
A man and a woman, both vendors at the market, were killed in the attack.
    
Another man was injured.
    
A senior investigator told RJR News that eyewitnesses have reported that the teenager entered the market and began firing indiscriminately.
    
The investigator believe the boy had been given instructions to carry out the attack on the market.
    
The police are trying to locate him.
 
Nine arrested
 
The police, in the meantime, have provided details on Thursday's major operation in the Kingston West police division which led to the arrest of three wanted men and three persons of interest.
 
The police say they were seeking one of the men for questioning in relation to Wednesday's shooting at  Coronation Market.
   
The man was nabbed during the operation that began about 4 o'clock Thursday morning. It spanned several communities, including Tivoli Gardens, Golden Heights, Pink Lane, Charles Street and Hannah Town.
   
Another person of interest was being sought in relation to the killing of an auto body repairman and the injuring of another man on Metcalfe Street in Denham Town on Wednesday.
   
The third person of interest is wanted for questioning in relation to a murder in the Kingston Central Police Division.
   
The arrest of the three wanted men is in connection with various offences including robbery and shootings.
   
Three other men were arrested on warrants.
   
A total of 97 men were questioned and released.
