176 detained so far in Corporate Area state of emergency

The police have revealed that 176 people have been detained by the security forces since the State of Emergency was declared in sections of the Corporate Area on Sunday.
 
Most of the detainees have been released.
 
According to data released Tuesday by the authorities, 145 of the individuals were processed and released.
 
Fifteen of the detainees, who have been described as persons of interest, remain in custody.
 
One person has been charged.
 
Three illegal guns and 35 rounds of ammunition have also been seized since the 14-day State of Public Emergency was imposed in the St. Andrew South, Kingston Central and Kingston Western police divisions.
