An American man and his Canadian son have been arrested at Sangster International Airport in St. James following a cocaine bust.
Percival Joseph, 48 and Ishan Joseph, 18, were charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act after they checked in to board a flight to Toronto, Canada about 9 o'clock Friday night.
During security checks, cocaine weighing seven pounds was allegedly found in false compartments their luggage.
The cocaine was valued at $8.3 million.
The men are to appear before the St. James Parish Court on Friday.
