American tourist dies following crash in Old Harbour

For the second time this month, an American visitor has died following a motor vehicle mishap in Jamaica.
Paulette Baptiste-Diallo, 57, a transportation security officer from Brooklyn, New York was killed in a crash on Old Harbour Road in St. Catherine on Wednesday.
It occurred about 3 p.m.
The Spanish Town Police reported that Ms Baptiste-Diallo was a passenger in a Toyota Yaris travelling from Spanish Town when the vehicle swerved and slammed into a parked truck. 
On March 11, 60 year-old California resident Mark Johnson died after being hit by a bus at Bull Point in the vicinity of Dunn's River Falls in St. Ann.
The driver of the bus, 51 year-old Neville Phillips, who was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, is to appear in the St. Ann Parish Court on April 4.
