Appliance technician held with cocaine - sentenced to six months

An appliance technician of London, England is to serve six months in prison for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
 
Royston Place,51, was yesterday sentenced when he appeared in the St. James Parish Court.
 
In addition to the mandatory six months imprisonment, Place was fined $700 thousand  or six months imprisonment, for possession of cocaine.
 
The police report that, about 1:50 on the afternoon of February 25, Place attempted to board a flight destined for Brussels, Belgium.
 
During a security check, three pounds of cocaine was reportedly found in his suitcase.
