Barbican Road work to impede traffic this weekend

The National Works Agency (NWA) says the installation of  sewer pipes across Barbican Road near the intersection with Garth Road in St. Andrew will impede the flow of  vehicular traffic tonight into tomorrow morning.
Senior Communications Officer at the NWA, Ramona Lawson, says the restriction will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
She says the activities to improve the central sewer system along Barbican Road are part of  the extended road reconstruction project currently being undertaken.
Motorists can avoid the closure by using Upper Waterloo Road, Hope Road as well as East Kings House Road.
