Despite Tropical Storm Isaac being forecast to dissipate before moving to Jamaica early next week, the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) is urging the public to maintain a high state of preparedness.
In a statement Thursday afternoon, it said there could still be adverse effects resulting from rainfall.
ODPEM said it, along with the Meteorological Service, will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide updates.
Tropical storm force winds from Isaac will pass through the Lesser Antilles, near Dominica and Martinique Thursday.
The storm has become less organised.
On the forecast track, Isaac will move across the central Lesser Antilles and into the eastern Caribbean Sea later on Thursday, and then move across the eastern and central Caribbean Sea through the weekend.
