Bermuda to go under 24-hour lockdown

Bermuda, which now has 35 cases of the coronavirus, is to be placed on 24-hour lockdown for the next two weeks, starting Saturday morning.
 
The country is already under a nightly curfew.
 
Only essential workers are exempted from the regulations.
 
Grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations will remain open.
 
Premier David Burt told Bermudians they will have to prepare to endure 14 days of sheltering.
 
There are four people in hospital with the highly contagious disease.
 
He said 11 people had recovered and results are pending for 22 tests.
