British woman arrested at NMIA for cocaine

A British woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon at Norman Manley International following the seizure of two kilograms of cocaine by the Narcotics Police.
Reports are that Judith Moncrieffe, of a Birmingham address, was about to board a British Airways flight when she was stopped for security screening.
The cocaine, which is valued at more than $2 million, was found concealed in several packages in her luggage.
Ms. Moncrieffe was interviewed and later charged with possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine, attempting to export cocaine and conspiracy.
She is scheduled to appear in the St. Andrew Parish Court on June 20.
