British woman charged with attempting to smuggle cocaine out of Jamaica

The narcotics police have charged a British woman who was allegedly caught smuggling cocaine out of Jamaica.
Marjolyn Gayle, 57, a nurse aid, of Nottingham, England was arrested last Thursday at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St. James.
She was charged on the weekend and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
The narcotics police reported that about 6 o'clock last Thursday evening, Miss Gayle was preparing to board a flight to London when she was stopped and searched.
The cops searched her luggage and allegedly found six packages with eight pounds of cocaine valued at $4 million.
