The bloodletting continues in Clarendon with a couple being the latest victims.
Businessman Horace Lyn, 73, and his wife Daisy, 56, were shot outside their home on Foga Road in May Pen shortly after 6 o'clock Tuesday evening by unknown assailants.
The police say residents reported hearing explosions and saw two men running from the Lyn's house.
The businessman was found with bullet wounds lying on his back while his wife was found in the living room, face down with gunshot wounds and her throat slashed. The licensed firearm owned by Mr. Lyn was stolen.
The Lyns operated a wholesale store in Old Harbour.
Winston Maragh, Mayor of May Pen, lamented the murder of the couple describing it as a barbaric act.
Police have confirmed robbery as the motive for the attack.
