Cable & Wireless sending technicians to Irma affected islands

Telecommunications company Cable & Wireless will be sending technicians from Jamaica to islands affected by Hurricane Irma.
     
They will assist in service restoration.
     
In a release Tuesday morning, the company confirmed that its systems in Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico were affected by the hurricane.
    
Service has only been restored in Antigua and Anguilla.     
    
The company has established a Restoration Hub in Antigua, where technicians from Jamaica as well as Barbados and Panama will be assigned to getting islands back online.
