Entertainer Capleton had his bail extended when he appeared in the St. Andrew Parish Court on Thursday morning.
The case will again be mentioned on July 13.
A date was also set for the prosecution to disclose evidence to the defence. This will be done next Thursday.
Capelton has been charged with rape arising from an incident which allegedly occurred on April 28.
Allegations are that the entertainer hired a hairdresser to groom his hair at a hotel in New Kingston.
It is reported that he forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.
The entertainer, who spoke with RJR News following Thursday morning's court session, described the current charges against him as a test and proclaimed his innocence.
