Carnival Cruise ship arrives in Falmouth with 240 Jamaicans

The Carnival Cruise ship, transporting 240 Jamaicans, arrived Tuesday morning at the Falmouth Pier in Trelawny.
 
This was confirmed by Matthew Samuda, Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of National Security. 
 
Mr. Samuda told Radio Jamaica News that the Jamaicans will not disembark the ship until Wednesday.
 
Another vessel belonging to Norwegian Cruise Line docked in Falmouth on Monday evening.
 
It brought home 174 Jamaican crew members.
 
A Disney vessel is tentatively slated to berth on May 29. It is carrying more than 400 Jamaicans. 
 
Errol Greene, Director of the Western Regional Health Authority, has indicated there will be need for the redeployment of health personnel to assist with processing the returnees.
