The trial of a police officer who is accused of using a government-issued advance card to purchase petrol for his personal motorcar was again delayed when he appeared in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court on Thursday.
Constable Brian Williams was charged in 2012 with fraudulent conversion.
The matter was called off as the investigating officer was reportedly ill and unable to appear in court.
A new trial date has been set for August 18.
The court also heard that the witness list has been reduced to two, down from eleven witnesses when the matter was first called five years ago.
