CASE student linked to fire offered bail

The College of  Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) student   who was implicated in last week's arson attack at the  institution located in the eastern parish of Portland has been offered J$400 thousand bail.
 
Romario Bacchas, 19, was ordered by the court to report to the Grange Hill police station in the western parish of Westmoreland between 7am and 6pm everyday. He was also told to surrender his travel documents to have his finger prints taken.   
      
The teenager who is scheduled to return to court on May 24 has been charged with four counts of attempted murder and one count of arson.
    
Four students at the college were injured in the blaze which damaged two rooms at a male dormitory.
     
 
Damage was estimated at J$300 thousand.
