Central Village tense following multiple shooting deaths

Tension is high in Central Village, St. Catherine following a flare up of violence over the weekend which resulted in three persons being shot to death.
 
Senior Superintendent Clive Blair, head of the St. Catherine South Police Division, confirmed that the attacks are linked to a gang feud.
 
A resident of Central Village told RJR News that community members and children are fearful. 
 
She has called for the intervention of political representatives and the security forces to prevent the situation from worsening.  
 
Councillor for the Twickenham Park Division, Donovan Garth, told RJR News that access to services at the health centre and post office in the area is being affected due to community members being so fearful. 
 
He has also called for an urgent fix to the issue.
