Child drowns at Bahia Principe Hotel

Another child has drowned at the Bahia Principe Hotel in Runaway Bay, St. Ann, the second in three weeks.
He has been identified as four year-old Amir Hall of New York in the United States.
The incident occurred sometime after 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
Reports are that Amir was with two other children playing in a pool when he attempted to swim to where his mother was.
Amir's mother reported that soon after, she saw him floating and unresponsive.
CPR was administered but when there was no change to his condition, Amir was rushed to a hospital.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
There was another drowning at Bahia Principe on June 16.
Eight year-old Antoine Bookard of a Philadelphia address in the US died while playing with his family in a pool.
