Chinese nationals among five charged for counterfeit items

Five persons, including three Chinese nationals, have been arrested and charged in St. James in connection with breaches of the Intellectual Property Office Act.
Assistant Commissioner Fitz Bailey, head of the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Branch (C-TOC), said more than 2,000 packages of counterfeit hair extensions and other contraband were confiscated by members of C-TOC on November 29.
A "significant amount" of counterfeit DVDs were also recovered. 
The five have been charged with unlawful use of trademark.
