Chris Dehring to head RJR Sports Foundation

Businessman, Marketing expert and former CEO of Cricket World Cup 2007, Christopher Dehring is to head the RJR Sports Foundation. Managing Director of the RJR Communications Group, Gary Allen, announced that a new ten member board of directors, led by Mr. Dehring, had been appointed to serve the company's Sports Foundation.

Principal of Glenmuir High and former head of the Inter Secondary School Sports Association, ISSA, Clement Radcliffe is to be Deputy Chairman.

One of two directors appointed from the previous Board, and President of the Jamaica Olympic Association Mike Fennell, will be the new Chairman of the Selection Committee.

President of the International Federation of Netball Associations, Molly Rhone has also been re-appointed.

Newcomers to the Board include former West Indies Cricket Captain, Courtney Walsh, Olympian Grace Jackson, former Tourism Director Carole Guntley, head of RJR's Cable Division, Yvonne Wilks and veteran sports journalist Courtney Sergeant.
