Effective Monday, the Constant Spring Road and Constant Spring Grove intersection will be closed to vehicular access.
In a news release Friday afternoon, the National Works Agency (NWA) said motorists will no longer be able to turn from Constant Spring Grove onto Constant Spring Road.
The restriction will facilitate road improvement works and reduce traffic problems.
NWA Communication Manager Stephen Shaw says while Constant Spring Grove will no longer accommodate through traffic, motorists will still be able to access the street from Mannings Hill Road.
Access to business establishments in that vicinity will be maintained.
However, persons entering or leaving the locations will not be allowed to make a U-turn in either direction around the concrete median.
Access to Constant Spring Terrace and Hillman Road will not be affected by the change.
Motorists travelling south along Constant Spring Road who wish to access Mannings Hill Road can use Saxthorpe Avenue or continue to Mary Brown's Corner.
