Cop, former parish councillor wanted for sex offence flee Jamaica

The St. Thomas police say a cop and a former parish councillor who are wanted in connection with a case of sexual misconduct involving a minor who is pregnant, have reportedly fled the island. 
 
RJR News understands that the sergeant returned his service revolver and a letter of resignation to the police before fleeing the island. 
 
A file is being submitted to the DPP for a ruling. 
 
According to reports, both men were involved in a sexual relationship with the minor. 
 
They were informed that the girl is pregnant. However, they reportedly denied involvement. 
 
The minor reported the matter to the police.
