The spotlight will be on today's meeting of the Jamaican Cabinet amid threats of industrial action this week by some government-paid workers.
Cabinet will discuss wage negotiations involving the police; however, the Jamaica Confederation of Trade Unions is calling for Prime Minister Andrew Holness to include the concerns of all public sector groups at the meeting.
At a media briefing on Friday, the Confederation said public sector workers were restive and declared that normality could not be guaranteed.
