United States President Donald Trump today announced his intention to nominate Donald Ray Tapia to be the new US Ambassador to Jamaica.
A statement on the White House website said Mr. Tapia served as Chairman and CEO of Essco Group Management, the largest Hispanic owned business in Arizona.
He held the positions for more than three decades.
