Eight homeless as fire destroys house in St. Elizabeth

Eight persons are homeless after fire destroyed their four apartment dwelling house in Rocky Hill District in St. Elizabeth Wednesday afternoon.
   
Four children are among those affected in the blaze, which began about 12:30 p.m. 
     
A unit from Santa Cruz fire station responded to the call but could only conduct cooling down exercises.
    
Loss is estimated at $6 million.
    
The cause of fire is unknown.
