An eight year old student of Bethseda Primary School in St. Thomas remains in hospital after she was hit by a pick-up truck on the Ramble main road in the parish.
The mishap occurred about 3 o'clock while she was on her way home from school Wednesday afternoon.
The child was reportedly pushed by another student in the path of the vehicle.
She sustained head injuries.
