Fire in downtown Kingston forces closure of St. Aloysius Primary

Classes have been dismissed at the St. Aloysius Primary School in downtown Kingston after a fire at the intersection of Duke and Sutton Streets damaged a section of the institution this morning.
 
The blaze also left three families, including seven children, homeless.
 
The fire started about 8:15. 
 
The smoke also affected the St. Joseph's Infant School. However, classes remain in session.
 
It is not known how the fire started.
