Fisherfolk allegedly being sold tainted gas; ministry probing reports

The Ministry of Agriculture says it will investigate allegations of tainted fuel supplied to fisherfolk under its petrol subsidy programme.
   
Fishermen in Clarendon alleged that the contaminated petrol has damaged their boat engines.
   
They say there has not been a bigger outcry because some fisher folk have learnt to mix the faulty petrol with other fuels to prevent further damage.
