At least five persons were injured during a collision early Thursday between a minibus and a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus in Portmore, St. Catherine.
According to Colin Campbell, JUTC’s managing director, the injured were passengers in a Hiace minibus that overturned after running into the side of the JUTC bus.
Based on preliminary reports, it’s believed that the driver of the minibus was attempting to avoid a pothole when he lost control of the vehicle.
