Five killed in St. Catherine, four year old injured

Tension remains high in sections of  St Catherine, after three incidents of gun violence on Sunday left five persons dead and a four year-old boy hospitalised.

The first incident occurred about 8:30 am in Lakes Pen, during which two men and a woman were killed.   

A four year-old boy was later found suffering from a bullet wound to his foot.

In the second incident, a man was shot dead at the LOJ Plaza in Spanish Town about 9 o'clock.

An hour later a man was fatally shot on Old Market Street in Spanish Town.

It is believed that the incidents resulted from a gang-feud.
