Five shot, two fatally, in Askenish, Hanover

The police have intensified investigations into tuesday evening's incident in Askenish, Hanover in which two persons were shot dead and three others injured. 
 
The deceased have been identified as 37 year old Tose McIntosh, otherwise called Rae Rae, a bus driver of Johnson Town in the parish, and 18 year old Shanoya Murray, otherwise called Zodie, a student of Askenish.
 
The three injured persons have been hospitalised.
 
The incident occurred about 7 o'clock.
 
Reports are that Mr. McIntosh was driving a Toyota Hiace bus along the Dundee Penn main road with the other four persons aboard when men armed opened gunfire at the bus.
 
No motive has been established for the attack. 
 
The police are requesting assistance from the public to provide information that can assist in the investigation.  
                                                                       
"We are doing our best in the division. We regret the unfortunate situation but we are reassuring our citizens that we are on top of everything," insisted Superintendent Sharon Beeput, head of the Hanover Police.
