Former Reggae Boy Irvino English killed in drive-by shooting

Former Reggae Boy Irvino English was shot and killed in Waterhouse, St. Andrew on Wednesday night.
He was gunned down on Ashoka Road.
It is reported that he was standing at his gate when he was shot several times by men who escaped in a car.
Mr. English, 42, was pronounced dead at hospital.
At the time of his death, Mr. English was the assistant coach of the Wolmer's Boys' School Manning Cup team.
Six murders over 24 hours 
Mr. English was one of six people murdered over the last 24 hours. There were also three cases of shooting with intent over the period. 
The murders occurred in the St. James, St. Andrew South, St. Catherine North, Kingston West and Clarendon police divisions.
The other deceased have been identified as 51 year old Earl England of Farm Heights, St. James; 40 year old Shane Duffus of Palmers Cross, Clarendon and 31 year old Renaldo Farquharson of Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
In addition, the body of an unidentified woman, with the hands and feet bound, was found Wednesday in a barrel, on a hand-cart, on Darling Street in the Kingston West police division.
Another unidenitifed body, that of a man, was found on McArthur Avenue in St. Andrew on Wednesday.
The body had bullet wounds.
