Fourth suspect charged in connection with Collymore murder

A fourth suspect has been charged in connection with the January contract-style killing of Simone Collymore and her driver, Winston Walters, in Forrest Hill, St Andrew.

He is 21 year old Shaquilla Edwards, a higgler of Garvey Meade, Portmore, St. Catherine.

Mr Edwards, who was captured in Manchester three weeks ago, appeared before the St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday and was remanded until June 5. He now joins Mrs Collymore's husband Omar Collymore and two other accused, Michael Adams and Dewayne Pink, who have been charged for the double murder.

Mrs Collymore and her driver were shot dead on January 2, when gunmen on motor bikes sprayed bullets on her vehicle at the entrance to her apartment complex in Forrest Hills.

Investigators have accused Mr Collymore of plotting his wife's murder.

Mr. Collymore, a US citizen, was captured in St Elizabeth while preparing to leave the country.

The defendants are charged with murder and conspiracy to murder.
