Motorists are being diverted from a section of the Port Henderson Road in Portmore, St Catherine.
A JUTC tanker trailer transporting diesel has overturned near the bridge by the fishing village. The tanker reportedly fell on a parked van. There are no reports of injuries.
Some of the oil has spilled into the sea.
Police are now at the scene.
