Health authorities in Grenada have confirmed an outbreak of conjunctivitis or 'pink eye' in the eastern Caribbean country.
A statement from the Ministry of Health on Tuesday said there have been 81 reported cases of pink eye since the start of the year.
Forty of the cases were identified in one health district in the first week of this month.
The remaining cases were confirmed during the period January to August.
The Health Ministry said it is now on alert.
