With more cases of dengue fever surfacing in Jamaica the authorities are now looking at new ways to reduce mosquito breeding.
This was revealed by Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton who said plans are beling finalised for the project.
“We are going to be embarking shortly on a test to sterilize the mosquuito, not genetically modify, but to basically make the breeding process much slower…..so we are trying engage new methods of control, but the real challenge is behavioural change…
