INDECOM ‘distressed’ at the murder of Det Cpl Warren Campbell

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM)  is distressed and horrified at the murder of Detective Corporal Warren Campbell last night (September 20, 2012).

The Commission  notes that it condemns any acts of violence against any member of our security forces and wishes to encourage the public to assist the police as best as they can with a view to bringing the persons responsible to justice.

Detective Corporal Campbell was making his way to a popular fast food establishment when a man alighted from the vehicle and opened fire on him.

He was reportedly shot seven (7) times.
