Investigation into gun making machine in Manchester

An investigation is being carried out by the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) following the discovery of a machine which is capable of manufacturing firearms.
 
It was found at a property in Manchester last week and it has been discovered that it was brought into the island without a permit from the FLA.
 
RJR News been informed that the machine was found while the FLA was conducting an investigation into a high volume of requests from eight individuals in Manchester for permits to purchase a large quantity of ammunition.
The requests, which were made last month, were for a total of  100,000 rounds.
 
It's reported that the property where the gun making machine was found belongs to one of the individuals who the FLA was investigating.
  
According to information reaching RJR News, the individual applied for a permit to purchase 12,000 rounds of ammunition last month.
 
Shane Dalling, CEO of the Firearm Licensing Authority, told RJR News that the FLA is aware of the equipment and the Ministry of National Security has been advised.
