Jamaica score first win at Beach Soccer Championship

Jamaica kept their quarter-final hopes alive , with a 6-3 win over Caribbean neighbours Guyana on Tuesday night, at the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championships in the Bahamas.

Rohan Reid netted a hat-trick, while Jermaine 'Tuffy' Anderson had a brace to go along with Mitchily Waul's strike to give the Jamaicans their first win of the campaign. The Jamaicans went down 2-0 on penalties to Belize in their opening Group 'A' match on Monday.

Jamaica will next face the Bahamas who defeated Belize 3-0 on Tuesday evening, in a must win contest on Wednesday night at 8:00.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, while the bottom two teams from each group enter the placement stage for 9th to 16th places.
