Jamaican arrested in Cayman for allegedly importing cocaine

A 30 year-old Jamaican man has been arrested in Cayman on suspicion of possession and importation of about five pounds of cocaine.
He was taken into custody at Owen Roberts International Airport on Friday night.
This followed his arrival on a Cayman Airways flight from Kingston.
Customs officials say the narcotics were concealed in boxes.
Following the suspect's arrest, the drug haul was tested by officers at the airport and the results showed it was positive for cocaine.
The Jamaican remains in custody as the investigation continues.
