JDF soldier remanded for colleague's murder

Dwayne Williams, 33, the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) soldier accused of  murdering his colleague, Lance Corporal Michael Frazer, was remanded on Tuesday when he appeared before the Clarendon Parish Court.
Prosecutors reported that the post mortem and ballistic reports are outstanding.
Attorney Lorenzo Eccleston, who is representing Mr. Williams, said a bail application will be decided on Monday.
Mr. Williams has been charged with murder, robbery with aggravation, attempting to pervert the course of justice and illegal possession of firearm.
Corporal Fraser was shot dead at his home in Rock River, Clarendon on January 26.
Investigators say a love triangle was at the centre of the killing.
