The opposition Jamaica Labour Party has expressed full confidence in its two members on the Electoral Commission of Jamaica ( ECJ), Tom Tavares-Finson and Aundre Franklyn.
It was reported that there was uproar at Sunday's meeting of the Party's Central Executive.
JLP insiders said some members of the Executive became upset after being provided details regarding the court claim against the ECJ by Party members who are challenging changes to Portmore's electoral boundaries.
"The party has full confidence in these members on the Electoral Commission . Based on our understanding A number of supporters are questioning the methodology used to effect changes to the boundaries and that's what they are challenging," said JLP General Secretary Dr. Horace Chang.

The Party issued a statement saying that there was no uproar at the Central Executive meeting.
