JLP town hall meeting reportedly disrupted by PNP supporters

A Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) town hall meeting in Morant Bay, St. Thomas  was disrupted late Tuesday by supporters of  the ruling People's National Party.

The meeting was called by JLP candidate for St. Thomas Eastern, Delano Seiveright, to discuss issues facing the constituency.

However, the address by guest speaker, Senator Marlene Malahoo-Forte, was constantly interrupted by PNP supporters who were present at the meeting and disagreed with Seiveright's candidacy.

She sought to assure the attendees that Seiveright was the right candidate to address the problems in the constituency.
