JUTC providing more buses on Spanish Town routes

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has said it will make more buses available on its Spanish Town routes for commuters who would have used other means of transport.

It said it will also try to start services at 4:30 in the mornings to ensure commuters can get the earliest bus available.

According to the state run bus company, it had discussions with the ground command on Monday morning and it will ensure its services operate as normal as possible despite the implementation of the State of Public Emergency in the St. Catherine North police division.

The JUTC is, however, warning commuters to expect delays as they or the vehicle in which they are travelling may be searched by the security forces.
