JUTC reverts to normal schedule as drivers exempted from curfew order

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has reverted to normal operating hours following news that its drivers are among those exempted from the curfew order.
 
The curfew takes effect at 8 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m.
 
This will continue for seven days.
 
JUTC Managing Director Paul Abrahams had earlier said most routes would cease operating at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and roll-out no later than 8 a.m. daily for the duration of the curfew.
 
In a follow-up interview with Radio Jamaica News, Mr. Abrahams said following meetings, a decision was made to revert to full service operations.
