The Kingston Craft Market is to re-open for business on Saturday following a fire on Thursday that destroyed eighteen shops.
A statement from the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) on Friday morning said the clean-up exercise has been completed.
The UDC said the Jamaica Fire Brigade has also completed its inspection of the damaged area located in the eastern section of the craft market.
Sanitation works will continue Friday on the affected area.
The UDC said its technical team is preparing an estimate of the damage caused by the fire.
